Living Room is a three-song EP from Andre Keef that was written and recorded the way most of these songs have always lived: quietly, at home, without much fuss. It’s got heart with some twang — call it bluegrass, folk, indie, or just a guy and his instruments in a West Philly basement.

The record grew out of a pull toward simplicity. Keef found himself digging into acoustic music and traditional forms, recognizing the value of authenticity that isn’t too concerned with novelty. These songs came quickly and honestly, most of them arriving nearly whole in a single sitting.

It’s about making space — clearing out the noise to see what's actually there. Living Room is literal and figurative. These are the songs that have always been strummed in private, and this is Keef opening the door.
