Living Room
May 2026
Living Room is a three-song EP from Andre Keef that was written and recorded the way most of these songs have always lived: quietly, at home, without much fuss. It’s got heart with some twang — call it bluegrass, folk, indie, or just a guy and his instruments in a West Philly basement.
The record grew out of a pull toward simplicity. Keef found himself digging into acoustic music and traditional forms, and found that some things carry weight precisely because they don't try to be new. These songs came quickly and honestly, most of them arriving nearly whole in a single sitting.
It’s about making space — clearing out the noise to see what's actually there. Living Room is literal and figurative. These are the songs that have always been strummed in private, and this is Keef opening the door.

ABOUT ANDRE
Andre Keef has always been drawn to sounds that do something unexpected — the raw feel of blues guitar, the texture of experimental electronic music, beats that are a little too weird to name, and lately a deep pull toward bluegrass, folk, and everything acoustic. He's been following his ear for most of his life and probably will until he can’t hear anymore.
Based in Philadelphia, he performs in whatever configuration the room calls for — solo acoustic, an intimate duo, the psychedelic sprawl of The Savories, or the full alt-country swing of Ashford King. His latest EP, released May 2026, was written, played, and recorded entirely by himself. The Savories also have an album dropping this summer.
He shoots film, makes zines, and spends a lot of time on his bike, usually with a fishing rod strapped to it, looking for water. His first zine, Pic + Lit, features his photography intertwined with writing from a few close friends and will be released this summer.
